Impressed by the caretaker of Bickle Camp, Mark Aslin, I bought a Friends of Last Chance Canyon single prospecting membership on 28 August 2010, and propected two parts of the Tip Top claim 28-30 August 2010.

From Avenue K at Freeway 14, it's 62 miles to the EP-15 turn-off just north of two billboards (one on each side of 14). EP 15 (upper right dirt road) provides access to Bickel Camp (N 35 26 10.4 W 117 57 13.1) and 71 miles to the discovery post of the Tip Top claim (N 35 26 12.0 W 117 52 32.3) where the altitude is 3540'.  The northwest corner marker is at N 35 26 19.6 W 117 52 31.4.
