The ADO bus from Playa dekl Carmen to the border with Belize was modern, clean, air conditioned and had a movie on a big LCD screen in the front of the bus. The bus from Mexico to Belize was an old school bus with a radio. The guy in the red shirt was the ticket-taker.

It was a long, slow and mostly dark ride on the Belize "express" bus. Madeline arranged to have her primary driver, Ralph Potter collect us at the Belize bus terminal, and transport us to the Lower Dover Field Station.
