Lower Dover day 4

Madeline drove us to San Ignacio where we caught the SUV of a tourist company to the Guatemala border. After we paid to leave Belize and paid to enter Guatemala, we boarded a nearly new Toyota 12-passenger van to Tikal.  We were its only passengers. The road was newly paved much of the way. Here it reverted to dirt.
